Taco Dan`s in Granville

What a wild place. Honestly, I don't know how this place is in Granville.

Love this place, great food and excellent service.

Didn't like the food. .. staff was nice but food sucks. .. it was cold and weak on flavor. I will not go back

To start this off the food was really good, but that is not a good enough reason to go back. The owner of Taco dans (Dan) is very disrespectful and talks down to employees and customers alike. He made us feel very uncomfortable. A lot of profanity was being tossed around and mostly directed towards women and disrespecting them. There was also a little white dog that was begging for food the whole time (kinda annoying at a restaurant).

Got the fish tacos. Solid. Wife got the quesadilla. She loved. Margaritas weren't bad, but nothing to write home about. Atmosphere was very divebar, which isn't a bad thing.

I was caught off guard on entering the restaurant; there's no hostess our anything. The restaurant is VERY casual, bordering on chaotic. There are more tables than expected spread throughout what looks to be an old frat house's first floor, with a bar tucked into one room. Seat yourself, and order food and drinks at the bar. They had 4 local draft beers, and what appeared to be a comprehensive section of spirits. The queso was serve yourself, with chips handed to you at the separate kitchen window. The shredded beef and chicken quesadillas were both excellent, with the chicken getting the nod. All the staff was very friendly as well. A good meal; we'd go back.

Definitely a cool place. Only reason its not a 5 star is due to the portions being a bit small. Will definitely revisit when in the area.

We just moved here from CA. So far most Mexican restaurants we've tried have been disappointing. We walked from our place to Taco Dan's and were pleasantly surprised! The staff reminded us of CA, the Deco, though a bit rough around the edges, was comfy and inviting. The food was plentiful, very tasty and their Salsa was good. There is a bar area that appeared fully stocked. Just a nice place.

What a weird little perfect place. The food is handmade and you can tell. House made tortilla chips, great beer selection including 32oz bottles. Come for the food stay for the eavesdropping.

I'm just going to keep it short and sweet by quoting the 2 text I just received from my wife. "I could go for some more 🌮 Dan right now.". "Seriously though, can we get taco Dan's for dinner again. It sounds so yummy right now."It's good stuff!

The tacos are good but the service is terrible. The bartender seemed intoxicated and put in the wrong food order for us - and then implied it was our fault. When we asked for a check, he scribbled out an illegible bill. We asked him to explain the final charge and realized he charged us for a drink we didn't order. He got angry with us for correcting him and told us we should just go the Broadway Pub. The place has an interesting vibe and we've enjoyed eating there in the past, but this most recent experience was bad.

Hidden gem in Granville, as are Barb & Dan, who own it! Top notch nachos & the hand cut fries are my husband's go to there.

We met Taco Dan who was awesome, but his food was even better! The only rule is: the chalk goes back in the bucket.

Went there for food only.first Tim being there, or even hearing about it. Was sceptical at first but, absolutely loved it. Food was awesome. Service was amazing. Great place, will go again for sure!

Unique, low budget deco with plenty of room for a large crowd, and a never ending double loop floor plan with a full service bar, pool table and an eclectic collection of stuff to keep the conversation flowing while waiting for a tastefully prepared meal. Great prices, very good food, beverage selection and dynamic staff.
